Day by Day Itinerary

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be met by your professional safari guide and transferred to your hotel in Arusha. Relax after your journey and receive a safari briefing in preparation for the days ahead.

Accommodation (Arusha):

  • Mid-range: Green Side Hotel
  • Semi luxury: Mount Meru / Underthe Shades/Kahawa House
  • Luxury: Melia Arusha/Four Point Sheraton

After breakfast, depart for Tarangire National Park, known for its large elephant herds and iconic baobab trees. Enjoy a full game drive along the Tarangire River, spotting wildlife such as lions, giraffes, buffaloes, and diverse birdlife.

Accommodation (Tarangire Area):

  • Luxury lodge: Elephant Spring/Burunge Baobab Tented Lodge
  • Mid Range: Simba lodge / Sangaiwe Tented lodge

After breakfast, enjoy a final morning game drive before heading to the Ngorongoro Highlands. The scenic drive offers stunning views of the Rift Valley and surrounding landscapes. Arrive at your lodge in time to relax and enjoy the cool highland atmosphere.

  • Luxury: Ngorongoro Crater Lodge

After an early breakfast, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a half-day game drive. Later, continue toward Central Serengeti, enjoying game viewing en route across the endless plains.

  • Semi Luxury: Nyota Camps/Salinero Hotel/Signature Camp
  • Luxury: Four Seasons/ Serengeti Melia / Kubukubu Tented Lodge

Spend a full day exploring the Serengeti on extensive game drives. The Seronera region is rich in predators, including lions, cheetahs, and leopards, as well as large herds of plains game. Optional hot air balloon safari available at an extra cost.

After breakfast, transfer to Seronera Airstrip for a scheduled flight to Zanzibar. Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to your beach resort to begin your island escape.

  • Luxury: Melia Zanzibar / Zuri Zanzibar

Enjoy a full day at leisure on Zanzibar’s pristine beaches. Relax by the ocean, swim in turquoise waters, or enjoy optional activities such as snorkeling, spa treatments, or a sunset dhow cruise.

Accommodation: Same as Day 6

After breakfast, explore Stone Town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, rich in Swahili culture and history. Later, visit a spice farm to learn about Zanzibar’s world-famous spices. Return to your resort in the afternoon.

Another full day at leisure to enjoy the beach or optional excursions such as diving, snorkeling, or a visit to Jozani Forest to see the red colobus monkeys.

After breakfast, transfer to Zanzibar International Airport for your onward or international flight.
