Day by Day Itinerary

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by your professional safari guide and transferred to your hotel in Arusha. Depending on your arrival time, you may relax at the lodge or explore Arusha town at leisure. A safari briefing will be provided to prepare you for the adventure ahead.

Accommodation (Arusha):

  • Semi luxury: Mount Meru / Underthe Shades/Kahawa House
  • Luxury: Melia Arusha/Four Point Sheraton

After breakfast, depart for Tarangire National Park, famous for its vast elephant herds and ancient baobab trees. Enjoy a full game drive along the Tarangire River, the park’s lifeline during the dry season, where wildlife congregates in large numbers.

Accommodation (Tarangire Area):

  • Mid Range: Simba lodge / Sangaiwe Tented lodge

After an early breakfast, drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and descend into the crater floor for a spectacular game drive. The crater hosts one of Africa’s highest densities of wildlife, including the Big Five, hippos, and large lion prides.

Depart Ngorongoro for the Ndutu region, located in the southern Serengeti ecosystem. This area is a key migration zone, especially during the calving season. Enjoy afternoon game drives across open plains dotted with wildebeest, zebras, and predators.

Spend a full day exploring Ndutu with extensive game drives. This region is renowned for dramatic predator action, particularly lions, cheetahs, and hyenas following the migrating herds. Picnic lunch enjoyed in the bush.

After breakfast, travel north to Central Serengeti (Seronera), one of Africa’s richest wildlife areas due to its permanent water sources. Enjoy game drives en route, spotting large predators and plains game.

  • Semi Luxury: Nyota Camps/Salinero Hotel/Signature Camp

A full day of game drives in Central Serengeti, focusing on the Seronera Valley. Expect close encounters with lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, and a wide variety of herbivores. Optional hot air balloon safari available at an extra cost.

After breakfast, transfer to Seronera Airstrip for a scheduled flight back to Arusha. Upon arrival, connect to your international flight or onward arrangements.
