Day by Day Itinerary

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by your professional safari guide and transferred to your hotel in Arusha. Depending on your arrival time, you may relax at the lodge or explore Arusha town at leisure. A safari briefing will be provided to prepare you for the adventure ahead.

Accommodation (Arusha):

  • Semi luxury: Mount Meru / Underthe Shades/Kahawa House
  • Luxury: Melia Arusha/Four Point Sheraton / Arusha coffee lodge

  • Depart from Arusha after breakfast for Lake Manyara National Park.

  • Full-day game drive in this scenic park, known for tree-climbing lions, flamingos, and abundant birdlife.

  • Picnic lunch in the park with opportunities to photograph wildlife against the backdrop of the Rift Valley escarpment.

Accommodation:

  • Midrange: Ngorongoro Coffee Lodge/Baghayo Suites /Tloma Lodge
  • Semi Luxury: Accasia Lodge / Escapement Lodge/Mana Lodge
  • Luxury: Kitela Lodge /Gibs Farm/ Ngorongoro Retreat

  • Travel to the Serengeti National Park, the world-renowned savannah of endless plains and vast wildlife herds.

  • Afternoon game drive upon arrival. Look out for zebras, wildebeests, and predators roaming the plains.

Accommodation:

  • Midrange: Tukaone Camp/Osero/ Friends Camps
  • Semi Luxury: Nyota Camps/Salinero Hotel/Signature Camp
  • Luxury: Four Seasons/ Serengeti Melia / Kubukubu Tented Lodge
  • Full-day game drives in Central Serengeti (Seronera), the heart of the park.
  • Expect sightings of lions, leopards, cheetahs, giraffes, elephants, and migratory herds depending on the season.
  • Picnic lunch in the open savannah for authentic safari experience.

Accommodation: Same as Day 2

  • Depart Serengeti for Ngorongoro Conservation Area, stopping at Olduvai Gorge to learn about early human evolution.

  • Afternoon descent into Ngorongoro Crater, the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera.

  • Spot the Big Five in a breathtaking natural amphitheater.

Accommodation:

  • Semi Luxury: Ngorongoro Melia Lodge
  • Luxury: Ngorongoro Crater Lodge

  • Morning transfer to Lake Eyasi.

  • Guided cultural tour with the Hadzabe hunter-gatherers and Datoga pastoralists.

  • Depart for Tarangire National Park, famous for elephant herds, baobab trees, and predators.

  • Morning game drive in Tarangire National Park to spot wildlife missed the previous day.
  • Drive back to Arusha, with lunch en route.
  • Optional short visit to Arusha town for souvenir shopping.
  • Transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) for onward flight.
