All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation by Patmo Tanzania Travel.
Reservations can be made online, via email, or through our offices.
A booking is confirmed only after receipt of the required deposit or full payment, depending on the package.
Deposits are required to secure your booking.
Final payments must be made at least 30–60 days before the tour start date, depending on the package.
Payments can be made via bank transfer, Mpesa, or other approved payment methods.
Failure to complete payment may result in automatic cancellation of the booking.
Cancellations must be made in writing.
Refund policies vary depending on timing:
More than 60 days before departure: 75% refund of the deposit
30–60 days before departure: 50% refund
Less than 30 days before departure: No refund
Refunds will be processed within 14 business days of cancellation.
Clients may choose to postpone or reschedule their tour instead of canceling, subject to availability.
Postponement requests must be submitted in writing at least 14–30 days before the scheduled departure date.
Deposits paid will be credited in full toward the rescheduled tour and remain valid for up to 12 months from the original travel date.
Any price differences due to seasonality, park fees, accommodation upgrades, or third-party supplier changes will be payable by the client.
Postponements requested less than 14 days before departure may incur additional costs or partial loss of deposit, depending on supplier policies.
Only one postponement is permitted per booking unless otherwise agreed in writing.
If the postponed tour is later canceled, the standard cancellation policy will apply based on the original booking date.
Patmo Tanzania Travel reserves the right to adjust itineraries due to weather, road conditions, park regulations, or other circumstances beyond our control.
Alternative arrangements of equal or greater value will be provided whenever possible.
Clients must disclose any medical conditions or disabilities before booking.
Travelers are responsible for obtaining appropriate travel insurance covering medical expenses, trip cancellation, and evacuation.
Patmo Tanzania Travel is not liable for any injuries, illnesses, or accidents during the tour.
While we strive to provide safe and enjoyable travel experiences, Patmo Tanzania Travel is not liable for events beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, wildlife encounters, theft, or political unrest.
Personal belongings are the responsibility of the traveler.
Travelers are expected to respect local laws, cultures, and wildlife.
Misbehavior, illegal activities, or endangerment of others may result in removal from the tour without refund.
Patmo Tanzania Travel is not responsible for circumstances beyond our control, such as extreme weather, natural disasters, pandemics, or government restrictions.
In such cases, alternative arrangements or rescheduling will be made where possible.
In cases of force majeure (including pandemics, natural disasters, or government travel restrictions), Patmo Tanzania Travel will offer clients the option to postpone travel without penalties, subject to supplier terms and conditions.
These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of the United Republic of Tanzania.
Any disputes arising from bookings will be resolved under Tanzanian jurisdiction.
